Trails library launched at Kontakt Hub

Trails, a new cinematic and atmospheric 12GB Kontakt library, is the work of Estonian sound designer and composer Ergo Kukke. Its aimed at film- and trailer-makers, composers and sound designers, and features evolving, otherworldly textures suitable for use in sci-fi settings and characterful documentaries. The librarys own launch trailer says it all, really:

Theres already plenty of motion in the 2239 basic sounds, which are categorised into five fairly self-explanatory banks (Atmospheric, FX, Oneshots, Rhythmic, and Menu, the last of which maps many samples across a keyboard, divided into 11 themed sub-categories, to make finding sounds easier). But more movement can be added by layering up to four voices and then crossfading between them using the Motion XY pad. Theres a suite of effects and processing on board per voice (including resonant, band-pass, notch and formant filters, EQ, delay modules, distortion, a bit crusher and a convolving reverb) and detailed control over the design of each voice, from sample start playback position to the overall Attack and Release.

Trails requires the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 and is available for download from Kontakt Hub. It costs £174.50$226.85, but is available until the end of December 15th for £139.60$181.48.
