Smart Studio Launches Bespoke Reference Studio in Ireland

Smart Studio, a provider of a unique modular based solutions for the design, manufacture and installation of studios for critical audio applications, has built a reference studio at its offices in Ireland. The new space makes it possible for prospective customers to experience first-hand the details of the Smart Studio offering in both acoustic and build terms, giving them a view of the build and sound quality prior to investment.

The Smart Studio approach addresses many of the common complexities of building sound studios by delivering a single, streamlined process and based around a modular design. The main challenge with this approach is lack of off-the shelf product to be demonstrated. The new reference studio serves to showcase Smart Studio's acoustic design capabilities.

Smart Studio designs, manufactures and installs rooms for audio production and recording, bringing together the roles of Architect, Acoustician, Builder and Quantity Surveyor, consolidating the process under one roof. Its modular approach allows for accurate fixed-price costings and faster lead times for an earlier ROI. It is currently one of the only professional studio delivery systems able to offer a leasing option for this type of solution.

The new reference studio is set up to deliver top quality results and features a Control Room and V/O Booth, fitted with high end best-in-class equipment and software, including, a Mac Studio M1 Max, Avid Dock and S1 control surfaces, Genelec subwoofer, speakers and monitors, a BENQ 4K projector, Neumann microphone and Dolby Atmos Renderer.

Sustainability is another stand-out feature of the Smart Studio system. With up to 50% of all materials used in the Smart Studio system being either sourced from renewable resources or manufactured from recycled products and the de-mountable design, meaning it can be reused and re-purposed to meet current and future needs, Smart Studio is helping to minimise waste.
