One Hundred Years of Solitude Part 2 is in Production and Confirms New Cast

Following the extraordinary recognition received with the first part of One Hundred Years of Solitude, both from audiences and specialized critics, Netflix is proud to announce that it has started its production for the second part of the series adapting Gabriel Garc a Marquez's masterpiece.
The second part will be directed by Laura Mora, as well as Carlos Moreno, the outstanding Colombian director of extraordinary feature films, such renowned Lavaperros and Perro come perro, and of excellent series such as Goles en contra and Distrito Salvaje.
Marleyda Soto and Claudio Cata o reprise their roles as the iconic characters rsula Iguar n and Colonel Aureliano Buend a, respectively. They will be joined by new faces who will bring more of Macondo's unforgettable characters to life, including ngela Cano, Emmanuel Restrepo, Estefan a Pi eres, Mar a Adelaida Puerta, Emiliano Pern a, Juanita Molina, Laura Taylor, Obeida Benavides, Juli n Rom n, and Carla Baratta, among others.
Following the reception from our members and specialized press from all around the world, we are deeply proud to announce that the production of the second part has begun. With this series we pay tribute to the legacy of Gabriel Garc a M rquez and to Colombia and its extraordinary talent, said Francisco Ramos, Netflixs Vice President of Content for Latin America.
