WRAL-FM is going big to celebrate the upcoming school year with a brand new experience. The MIX 101.5 Back To School Studio is now officially live at Park West Village in Morrisville for the next two weeks!
The MIX team will be broadcasting from the remote location daily through Sunday, August 22, 2021. The live remote fun began on Monday, August 9.
WRAL-FM took over an entire store space and transformed it into the Back To School Studio.
Brian Maloney and I discussed an experiential setup for Back To School, and the studio was born, explained WRAL-FM Brand/Content Manager Sammy Simpson. It was sold by Tim Brady and brought to life by our marketing/promotions lead by Chris Edge and Shelby Lloyd. A real team effort!
CBC Vice President of Radio Brian Maloney is appreciative of the opportunity to think outside the box and go big for a WRAL-FM client.
Its great to work for a company like Capitol Broadcasting who gives cutting-edge tools to launch successful marketing campaigns for our clients. In this case, we just launched our Back To School Studios at Park West Village in Cary, NC. which includes a custom built on location studio for the next two weeks to bolster traffic. In addition to over a million audio impressions, the effort is supported by a digital campaign using video and display ads. At the conclusion of the campaign, we can provide a complete audit of impressions along with before/after foot traffic analysis at the shopping center.

MIX On-Air Personalities Diane Ramsey, Jim Kelly and Doug Miller will take turns in the studio from 10am to 6pm weekdays, 10am to 2pm on Saturdays, and noon to 4pm on Sundays.
Listeners can stop by to say hi. The MIX 101.5 Back to School Studio at Park West Village includes a selfie station and a coloring corner. Enter to win $500 worth of school supplies for one lucky classroom and for your chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree to Park West Village.
The MIX 101.5 Back To School Studio is located between the Target and TJ Maxx at Park West Village, in the old Omega Sports location.
