Este nuevo servicio completa la oferta de servicios audiovisuales de HISPASAT, que ya se vio reforzada el a o anterior con la adquisici n por parte de Telef nica del negocio de gesti n y transmisi n de se ales audiovisuales de Media Networks Latin America.
MADRID, 9 de marzo de 2022. HISPASAT, la operadora espa ola y proveedora de servicios y soluciones sat lite del Grupo Red El ctrica, ha alcanzado un acuerdo con NAGRA, el proveedor independiente y l der mundial de soluciones de transmisi n, protecci n de contenidos y monetizaci n de la televisi n digital, para desarrollar una soluci n de televisi n mayorista en un entorno OTT (Over-The-Top). Pese a que su lanzamiento est previsto para la primavera de 2022, la operadora ha puesto a disposici n una demo para posibles clientes interesados. El servicio permitir que las operadoras de TV de pago, los proveedores de servicios de internet (ISP) y las empresas de contenido regional puedan ofrecer a sus clientes un servicio de entretenimiento multipantalla de alta calidad por Internet, para lo que no ser necesario que desplieguen sus propias infraestructuras. Esto reduce tanto la inversi n inicial como el tiempo necesario para el lanzamiento de este tipo de soluciones.
En el marco de esta colaboraci n, HISPASAT proporcionar la infraestructura para el procesamiento de v deo en su telepuerto de Lur n (Per ), incluida la recepci n de contenido lineal (canales de TV) y contenido a la carta, as como su codificaci n y publicaci n. Gracias a la Plataforma de v deo OpenTV de NAGRA y a la soluci n de streaming en la nube VOS 360 de Harmonic, los clientes de HISPASAT podr n promocionar, conservar y monetizar su contenido. Adem s de otras herramientas para agregar contenido, gestionar la oferta, agrupar y fijar precios, gestionar contenido y visualizar el dise o de las apps, la soluci n de NAGRA tambi n incluir funciones para proteger contenido como, por ejemplo, la gesti n de derechos digitales en multipantalla (multi-DRM). Asimismo, y a trav s de su plataforma de experiencia de usuario, NAGRA se encargar de desarrollar aplicaciones de usuario para decodificadores y dispositivos de streaming, incluidas las smart TV, que se podr n personalizar para operadoras que utilicen el servicio. HISPASAT ser la responsable de la explotaci n ntegra del servicio desde su telepuerto de Lur n (Per ), donde tiene desplegados a sus equipos de profesionales expertos que operan actualmente varias de las plataformas de televisi n por sat lite desde las principales operadoras latinoamericanas.

Las funcionalidades de HISPASAT y del servicio OTT de NAGRA permitir n a los proveedores de servicios de la regi n seleccionar el contenido y, gracias a los derechos de transmisi n de HISPASAT, gestionar las ofertas de suscripci n a trav s de la plataforma de v deo Open TV de NAGRA y distribuir la soluci n a trav s de una app de la marca del operador disponible en las principales tiendas de aplicaciones. Adem s, aprovechar las ltimas prestaciones tecnol gicas, entre las que se incluye una red de soluciones de televisi n diferida (Catch-Up TV) y de grabaci n interactiva (PVR), varios canales de audio y subt tulos, servicios de gu as electr nicas de programaci n (EPG) y funci n de retroceso de EPG, TimeShift, gesti n de grabaciones y control parental, adem s de la b squeda y recomendaci n de contenidos. Por otra parte, podr ofrecer sus servicios tanto de v deo a la carta (VoD) como de canales lineales a trav s de aplicaciones de usuario en diferentes dispositivos, incluidas las smart TV y los descodificadores h bridos.
