NEW YORK March 11, 2020 Dailymotion, a Vivendi-owned global video platform, combining premium content and quality advertising solutions in a trustworthy environment, has joined Prebid.org, an independent organization designed to ensure and promote fair, transparent, and efficient header bidding across programmatic advertising as a Community member.
With members spanning from publishers to ad tech companies, the organization manages open source projects including Prebid.js, Prebid Mobile, Prebid Server, Prebid Video and Prebid Native. Through its contribution to the Prebid community, Dailymotion endorses the efforts for the growth, innovation and transparency of header bidding in the ad tech ecosystem.
The future of Prebid Video is primed to address the monetization and transparency challenges publishers face and to advance the programmatic ecosystem, said Justin Silberman, VP of product at Dailymotion. Joining Prebid.org as a Community member is a key step in our journey to unlock the benefits of video header bidding for our publishing partners.
Dailymotion's membership demonstrates the company's commitment to elevate Prebid Video solutions within the digital advertising category. As the use of header bidding technology rises, Dailymotion is entrenched in the importance of suitable open-source practices industry-wide.
