TURNER BROADCASTING PROMOTES SCOTT MILLER TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. announced today the promotion of Scott Miller to senior vice president and associate general counsel of legal and business affairs for Turner Content Distribution, the domestic distribution, sales and marketing arm of Turner. Miller is based out of Atlanta and reports to Rich Warren, executive vice president of negotiations & strategy.

In his elevated role, Miller is responsible for leading the legal and business affairs team and providing legal and business support in connection with the preparation, drafting, negotiation and administration of Turner's multi-platform distribution agreements for its domestic networks in the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada. Miller, who has been with Turner for 13 years, most recently served as vice president and assistant general counsel for the distribution division, and previously as assistant general counsel within the Turner legal department's transactional practice group, where he managed a team responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements for various areas of the CNN business. Prior to joining Turner, he was Associate Counsel within the Law and Public Policy Department of WorldCom. Miller holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
