Podcast and Chill with Macg recently secured a partnership with VAYA footwear after previously getting cancelled by brands such as Amstel and Old Mutual.

VAYA footwear has signed a first-of-its-kind partnership deal with the biggest podcast in Africa, Podcast and Chill with MacG. As part of the long-term partnership deal, VAYA will become the official sponsor and exclusive footwear partner, reports Zimoja.

Vaya has taken a leap of faith after the podcast lost brands like Amstel and Old Mutual in previous years.

BACKGROUND: VAYA FOOTWEAR The footwear brand was reportedly founded in 2019 by former journalist Themba Makamo on the belief in overcoming all obstacles to accomplish success. Through lived experience and failure at different businesses for over 10 years, Vaya has become s success and created employment for others.

The founder Themba Makamo reveals to Zimoja that Vaya and Podcast and Chill share identical characteristics, as both businesses are founded by young, black, and gifted entrepreneurs.

Both businesses are founded from personal stories of trials, tribulations, and triumphs for both MacG and Themba. MacG says its success has helped to build more careers than it has destroyed.

Podcast and Chill as a platform has the ability to allow talent to thrive and strive. We can all pay testimony the podcast has done for the likes of Dr. Malinga, Celeste Ntuli, Mpho Popps, and many others who have since been featured on the show.

MacG reveals to the publication that they chose to partner with Vaya as their exclusive footwear partner because of the shared culture of helping others.

Similar to Podcast And Chill, in their quest to achieve their goals and also giving second chances to those who have the courage to try again is in both our DNA, explains MacG. Through their deal, Podcast and Chill's footwear will be sold exclusively at VAYA stores and online stores. Starting this Friday,16 December 2022.
