Post Production Sou Africa Launches with BBC Project

Newly started post production crew agency, Post Production South Africa (PPSA), is delighted to announce the placement of their first editor on the high profile BBC Project, Eddie Izzard - Marathon Man .

Production co-ordinator Lani Schwartz, working with Rick Matthews of Big Banana Films, called Post Production SA's Barry Strick one Friday afternoon looking for an editor to start the next day. Juri Badenhorst was chosen from a selection of three editors put forward by PPSA and duly flew to the Eastern Cape to catch up with the team following Eddie.

This documentary project demanded fast turn-around - apart from keeping up with the footage coming in on a daily basis, each day a short clip was edited and uploaded to the BBC website. Juri completed his first edit on his day of arrival at midnight! By Sunday morning Juri's the clip was live on the BBC's website.

Juri said about working with PPSA Working with Barry from Post Production South Africa was a great pleasure. The first job he put me on, I was on a plane across the country and travelled with a crew to film a documentary. This was a beautiful journey and I would like to thank Post Production South Africa for giving me the experience and handling all of the admin quickly and efficiently.
