While the 2021 NAB Show has been moved to October, the spring season will still feature a cavalcade of new product releases and groundbreaking news coming out of the broadcast technology sector. In an effort to keep the video-production community informed, SVG is hosting a series of SportsTech On Demand video interviews throughout April, May, and June with executives from the industry's top technology vendors.
Cobalt designs and manufactures an extensive range of award-winning IP and 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD conversion, throwdown, and multiviewer technology that has been embraced by broadcasters. Most recently the Cobalt 9904-UDX-4K-DSP 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD UHD Up/Down/Cross Converter/Frame Sync card has been particularly popular on sports productions, as has the new 9905-MPx 3G/HD/SD Quad-Path Up/Down/Cross Converter/Frame Sync/Embed/De-Embed Audio Processor.
In this interview, Chris Shaw, Cobalt Digital, EVP, Sales and Marketing, discusses the 9904-UDX and 9905-MPx cards and how he's seeing sports-production clients utilize Cobalt Digital products in the field today.
