QPR sign BT as official communications partner

QPR sign BT as official communications partner BT Business has agreed a multi-year partnership deal with Queens Park Rangers football club to become the club's official communications provider.

The partnership will transform QPR's communications by supplying them with BT One Phone and a high performance network that will give the club secure and high speed communication and connectivity with 24/7 support across all the club's premises, including its Loftus Road stadium and training ground at Harlington, near Heathrow Airport.

QPR will benefit from dedicated bandwidth between locations through the BT Converge platform and fixed Internet from BTNet, ensuring the Club can transfer unlimited amounts of data at any time with guaranteed upload speeds as well as download speeds, helping staff and fans on match day at Loftus Road.

QPR's communications will be transformed by BT One Phone, a service that will bring together the club's office phone system and mobile phones into a single service, hosted in the Cloud. QPR's employee telephone numbers will be linked to their work mobile phone, so whether somebody calls their landline, extension or mobile number, all calls go to one phone, ensuring the club's staff always remain connected wherever they are.

BT One Phone combines with EE's 4G network, offering the biggest network and the best coverage in the UK, plus unlimited access to more than five million BT Wi-fi hotspots.

QPR will have both the data and voice connectivity to allow them to be as productive outside the office as they are at their desk.

BT One Phone will give greater versatility and flexibility to all Club employees covering ticketing, administration and team management. The Club and team will be able to remain connected whether they're on pre-season tour, at the training ground and especially at crucial times of the season such as transfer deadline day.

From the start of the 2015/16 season BT Sport branding will feature on the headrests of both sets of dugout seats at Loftus Road, in addition to LED signage and BT Sport content on the stadium's big screen.
