WeVideo Ps Million Users, Adds New Features to Premium Accounts

We are excited to announce our latest release packed with a number of new features. Get creative with the new Twixtor slow- and fast-motion effects, pick a tune from our Premium Music library, get 1080p export quality with Pro or Business accounts. Got a 5 or 10 GB HD clip? No problem - now you can upload large files to WeVideo. Your business needs a video bumper, Info Card with custom logo and clickable call to action? We have that too. And we added inline player when sharing to Twitter.

Slow / Fast Motion

We've all seen slow motion videos. It's used to add feeling to video projects, tapping into the emotional elements that help us communicate better. Some even create a feeling of epicness, but what slow motion does best is make anything look cool. WeVideo worked together with the expert in this field - RE:Vision Effects. We integrated their Hollywood-caliber Twixtor plugin into our editor. The result - an amazing and easy to use feature for your next great video.

Professional tools for Businesses

Our new WeVideo Business accounts got some essential new features. Now you can personalize your videos with Info Cards - add your logo and contact information or your own custom video bumper at the end of a video.

Unlike some other video hosting sites, we allow you to direct viewers to your website by providing customizable clickable links (Call-To-Action). We've also included several new elegant themes to ensure professional quality videos for your viewers.

Unlimited file size uploads

Our team worked hard to overcome a technical challenge that was preventing the upload of files larger than 500MB. Problem solved and no more limits! You can now upload any file size clips to your WeVideo account and edit in a web browser without running out of memory on a low-powered Chromebook. Should you need more storage, easily upgrade from your Account page.

If you want robust file uploading, use DropBox's robust file syncing from your local computer to your Dropbox account. Connect WeVideo to Dropbox, and import the media files from Dropbox to WeVideo. Hakuna matata.

Premium Music Library

We've partnered with Rumblefish Music - a trusted provider of music for top TV shows and films. Now you get access to the same music library with hundreds of high quality professional tracks.

New Personal and Business Accounts

We added a new Pro account with 1080p exports, 20GB and 2 hrs/month of export time, additional export destinations and 500 high quality music songs. Our Business accounts get a major facelift with the integrated Info Cards, Call-To-Actions, 1080p, extended storage and export time, 1,000 premium songs, export to Wistia, Vidcaster and more.

Other improvements in this release

We are not done yet. As part of this release, we've also added a better integration with Twitter to utilize their Player cards. Now, when you share to Twitter, your video will be right there in the post! Our engineers improved performance and squashed unwanted bugs. We've added Dailymotion, Wistia and Vidcaster to the growing list of export destinations. Oh, and we completely refreshed our website - be sure to explore it and share with others!
