Fox Corporation FAST Channels plus News and Sports Segments Now Available on Amazon's News App on Fire TV in the US Customers will now be able to watch LiveNOW from FOX, FOX Soul, and more across Amazon Fire TV streaming media players and smart TVs
Los Angeles, CA - March 4, 2022 - Fox Corporation (Nasdaq: FOXA, FOX) today announced three FOX FAST (free ad-supported TV) channels - LiveNOW from FOX, FOX Soul and the previously announced FOX Weather - will now be available on the Amazon news app on Fire TV. Customers in the US can enjoy those channels, as well as hundreds of short form segments per week from FOX News, FOX Business, and FOX Sports. Short form content from FOX owned & operated local stations, along with all content availability on Echo Show devices, will be coming soon.
FOX is pleased to expand our relationship with Amazon to bring our industry-leading news, weather, and sports content to the Amazon News app on an array of Fire TV devices, said BJ Elias, Executive Vice President, Distribution Advanced Services, Fox Corporation.
The agreement is FOX's first representing its full portfolio of network-based FAST and AVOD content.
The portfolio of FOX content is the latest addition to Amazon's News app on Fire TV, which customers can easily access from the Fire TV home screen. When you first open the app, you have the option to customize your experience and can simply select FOX Weather and other news channels that you care about most.
You can also access the app on Fire TV by saying Alexa, play the news with the included Alexa Voice Remote or from across the room hands-free with the Amazon Fire TV Omni Series.
LiveNOW from FOX is a raw, live, and unfiltered streaming news service focused on delivering the most relevant and engaging coverage of all news across the country. With studios in Phoenix, Ariz. and Orlando, Fla., the streaming service currently hosts nearly 120 hours of live news coverage each week, with limited commentary and no opinion programming.FOX SOUL is the Black community's premiere free streaming platform serving unapologetically black, consumable by all entertainment, around the clock to 62+ million viewers. With over 1,300 hours of live and interactive programming annually, we are home to some of the most iconic faces and voices of our culture: Cocktails with Queens hosted by Claudia Jordan, the award-winning FOX SOUL's Black Report, the black filmmaker showcase known as FOX SOUL's Screening Room hosted by Vivica A. FOX Weather showcases an innovative approach to forecasting, optimizing multiple radar systems, including an immersive, state-of-the-art 3D radar to deliver the most informative coverage of all weather patterns, from immediate to long-term. Alerts from FOX Weather will be on Amazon Echo Show devices during major weather events.
