MIX's Carpool Casanova Announces Spirit Award Finalists for Season 3

MIX 101.5's Carpool Casanova will wrap season three this Friday, May 24, 2024, but his final location has yet to be determined. The ultimate Spirit Award Winner has been narrowed down to three finalists who are texting like crazy for the crown.

We've entered the home stretch of the pinkest, hypest season to date, said MIX Mornings' Bryan Lord, the man in pink himself. The Carpool Committee' spent a weekend Aspen on Jimmy's dime. After much skiing and drinking, pink smoke erupted from the chimney signaling a decision.

Clearly, the Carpool Casanova has a rich fantasy life. But after the trip in his mind, he did help determine the top 3 schools to vie for the title (drumroll, please): Lead Mine Elementary, Wendell Magnet Elementary, and Richland Creek Elementary.

MIX 101.5's Carpool Casanova Season 3 Finalists for the Spirit Award are: Wendell Elementary (Eagles), Lead Mine Elementary (Leopards) and Richland Creek Elementary (Bulldogs).

The big announcement came on Friday, May 17. Listeners can vote for their fav by texting the mascot keyword below to 919-860-1015:

Through the weekend all three schools mounted monstrous social media campaigns, Lord reported. We've received tens of thousands of texts showing support for each of the three schools.

Voting is open through 11:59pm today, Tuesday, May 21.

On Wednesday, we'll see pink smoke again. At 7:12am that morning we'll announce the school receiving the iconic Pink Plaque' award, a check for $500, an ice cream party, and an epic finale performance, said Lord.
