Digital Alert Systems, the driving force behind emergency communication services in NextGen TV, will participate in APCO 2025, the premier event for public safety communications officials, from frontline telecommunicators and ECC managers to public safety communications equipment and services vendors. The event will be held in Baltimore, July 27-30, at the Baltimore Convention Center.

The company is teaming up with Sinclair Inc. and the AWARN Alliance to showcase how NextGen broadcast technology is transforming emergency communications and public safety services.

Visitors to APCO will see Digital Alert Systems' enhanced emergency messaging platform and witness its capabilities for advanced emergency information distribution, broadcast data, including solutions for emergency resilience, and specialized applications tailored for disaster shelters, operations centers, and critical infrastructure.

Next-generation television from local broadcasters can also carry an important enhancement for next-generation alerting and public information. We want to make sure that the public safety community is aware of the capabilities of ATSC 3.0, which could be a resource both for viewers and potentially also for first responders themselves, said the AWARN Alliance executive director, Dave Arland. The AWARN Alliance works to save lives and protect communities by leveraging advanced emergency alerting, news, and information powered by the ATSC 3.0 broadcast standard.
