Grass Valley Solutions Form the Heart of TV Integra os New Studio

MONTREAL, November 13, 2018 Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, has announced that it has equipped the latest news production studio built by TV Integra o, one of the affiliates of the Brazilian commercial network TV Globo. The multi-phase investment gives the news broadcaster a future-ready, flexible and scalable production capability that delivers unmatched storytelling to its viewers.

As news broadcasters face growing demand for more breaking stories, delivered simultaneously across multiple devices, the need for flexible infrastructures and efficient workflows becomes critical to success. To ensure it is able to meet the requirements of today and tomorrows mission critical news environments, TV Integra o selected Grass Valleys Densit 3 Frame, the 2 M/E Karrera K-Frame S-series Video Production Center and a Kaleido-MX-48X2 multiviewer, along with the IQ Modular distribution and processing solution to handle interfacing, processing and conversion. Two Grass Valley Focus 75 Live 720p/1080i Switchable HD System Cameras have also been deployed at the new studio.

The Karrera K-Frame S-series switcher gives TV Integra os production team unmatched creative freedom and delivers future-ready capability with multiformat support for SDI or IP, HD or 4K UHD, and SDR or HDR. In the changing lighting conditions of the new studio, Focus 75 Live cameras provide high sensitivity for best performance, even with fast camera movements and short light flashes. With the award-winning Densit solution, the team can simultaneously handle 3G, HD, SD and analog video, and AES and analog audio processing, all from a 3 RU footprint. This combined with the IQ Modular solution, delivers powerful processing capabilities that can easily scale up or down as needed.
