Michael Shaffer Appointed Senior Vice President, Business Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment December 13, 2018

Burbank, CA - Michael Shaffer has been named Senior Vice President, Business Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, it was announced today by David Haddad, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Reporting to Haddad, Shaffer will oversee the strategy and execution of the company's worldwide business development, licensing and First Party partnerships. In his position, he will work closely with the executive team on the evaluation of investments, partnerships and new business models. He will also drive the negotiation and execution of appropriate deals.

We are extremely happy to welcome Michael to the team, as we are executing a global growth strategy for the games business, said Haddad. Michael's deep experience in games and enterprise partnerships combined with his leadership skills make him the perfect fit for this role.

Most recently Shaffer acted as an advisor to Google for the past year. Previously, he held the role of Vice President of Business Development for Dropbox, Inc. Prior to that, he had a long career at Electronic Arts which he began as an attorney before moving over to Business Development where he would be promoted to Vice President, Business Development.

Shaffer began his career as an attorney with a clerkship in the Central California District of United States District Court and as an Associate Attorney at the firm of Morrison & Foerster. He holds a bachelor's degree in Social Studies and German from Wesleyan University and a Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law.
