Thuraya supports Dubai's Information City's Educate a Child, Build a Nation initiative in advocacy of computer literacy for children Dubai, UAE, October 21, 2014 - Thuraya Telecommunications Company, a leading Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) operator today announced its support for Information City's Educate a Child, Build a Nation initiative, which advocates computer literacy for children in the UAE.

His Highness believes in the importance of providing educational and training opportunities for all UAE citizens, regardless of gender or nationality, as these citizens are the cornerstone of the Emirates' economic and social development. In addition to the backing from Thuraya, the initiative is strongly supported by governmental and semi-governmental entities including, the Knowledge & Human Development Authority, the Dubai Charity Association, the Humanitarian International City, as well as supported by the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation, the Arab Society for Social Support, and other entities from the private sector.
