MySports opt for solutions of EVS as backbone of its new facilities Para lograr esto, NEP Suiza, encargada de la puesta en marcha del nuevo centro de producci n y playout de MySports en Suiza, ha elegido los servidores XT4K y XS4K as como otras soluciones de EVS como IP Director e Ingest Funnel Lite de EVS.
Tras invertir en varios servidores XT4K a principios de este a o para sus nuevos camiones de producci n de 4K, NEP Suiza ha vuelto a desplegar los servidores de producci n en directo junto con otras soluciones de EVS con motivo de la puesta en marcha del nuevo centro de emisi n de MySports, propiedad de UPC Suiza, el mayor operador de televisi n por cable del pa s y filial de Liberty Global.
NEP tambi n proporciona a MySports servicios operativos para el nuevo centro de difusi n, que incluye dos estudios, tres salas de control (una dedicada a la producci n de los aspectos m s destacados de los partidos que se emiten), postproducci n y un centro de playout.
MySports emitir m s de una veintena de veintena de ligas y eventos deportivos, algunos de ellos en UHD 4K. Para lograr esto, NEP Suiza ha elegido los servidores XT4K y XS4K para que act en como estructura de producci n del flujo de trabajo del nuevo centro de difusi n. Esto permite al equipo de producci n grabar m ltiples canales simult neamente (en UHD-4K, HD o Full HD 1080p) todo ello a trav s de una infraestructura de red IP de 10 Gigabit.
Actualmente, la conectividad global del flujo de trabajo del centro de difusi n se basa en 3G-SDI, pero con la flexibilidad incorporada de XT4K y XS4K, NEP podr actualizar los servidores EVS a E/S IP con el soporte nativo de SMPTE 2110 antes de finales de 2017.
Flexibilidad, rendimiento y fiabilidad
Trond Hermansen, CTO de NEP Suiza y director de proyecto, reconoce que elegimos instalar los servidores XT4K y XS4K debido a su flexibilidad, rendimiento y fiabilidad. Con soporte para Full HD y UHD-4K, esta soluci n EVS nos permite satisfacer f cilmente las necesidades actuales y futuras de los canales de MySports. La interoperabilidad entre la tecnolog a EVS y otras soluciones dentro de nuestro flujo de trabajo tambi n es una parte muy importante de este flujo de trabajo. Necesitamos asegurarnos de que cualquier elemento instalado est estrechamente integrado con la plataforma Mediabank de NEP Media Services .
Todos los feeds ingestados se transmiten como archivos XAVC-Intra al almacenamiento compartido de NEP utilizando el sistema de gesti n de activos de producci n IPDirector (PAM) de EVS y los motores de transferencia XTAccess. IPDirector tambi n permite al equipo de producci n controlar la matriz de video de NEP a trav s de VSM de Lawo.
En las salas de control, los operadores de LSM utilizan el panel de control remoto LSM para producir clips y crear repeticiones a c mara lenta y destacados, que se emiten despu s de una jugada destacada o como res menes en el descanso final del partido. Los operadores tambi n pueden aprovechar la creaci n y administraci n de la lista de reproducci n de contenidos mediante la interfaz LSM Connect.
Todo el contenido ingestado est disponible para navegar en la base de datos de IPDirector, mientras que la edici n avanzada se realiza mediante varias estaciones de trabajo Adobe Premiere Pro CC con el complemento IPLink de EVS para Adobe. Con esto, los editores pueden acceder a todo el contenido administrado por IPDirector, incluidos los archivos de crecimiento en vivo. El plug-in permite la edici n r pida de la vuelta con la b squeda extensa de los metadatos y su panel del exportador simplifica la exportaci n al archivo de Mediabank de NEP ya los servidores de EVS para el uso en el estudio, la distribuci n y la transmisi n en l nea.
El material ENG tambi n se puede ingestarse en el sistema utilizando la aplicaci n de software Ingest Funnel Lite de EVS, donde puede ser administrado por IPDirector. Ingest Funnel permite una r pida ingesti n de contenido independientemente del formato de archivo, codec o metadatos asociados.
