arkona technologies GmbH, provider of cutting-edge IP core infrastructure solutions has announced that its EASY-IP platform is the recipient of Future's Best of Show Award, presented at the 2025 NAB Show by TVBEurope.
These awards are evaluated by a panel of engineers and industry experts, and are selected based on innovation, feature set, perceived value and application in serving the industry. The products nominated for the Best of Show program, provide an outstanding overview of new technology on the show floor and shine a spotlight on the very best, said the awards editorial team.
EASY-IP, a concept developed by arkona technologies GmbH and technology partner manifold technologies, easily ticked all the boxes. The platform is designed to bring a simple, economical, future-proof path to broadcasters wanting to upgrade or expand their existing SDI infrastructure to IP. This unified solution easily integrates into existing facilities via common industry-standard control protocols bringing a seamless transition to a more flexible and future-proof IP infrastructure. EASY-IP combines arkona's BLADE//runner with manifold CLOUD for best-of-breed audio/video routing, processing, and multi-viewing tools in one cohesive multifunctional platform with an extensive range of additional processing capabilities available as pooled resources. Options include video mixing and down-stream keying to create versioning and branding; proc-amp, color-correction and HDR-SDR conversion for shading and color-space conversion; flexible licensing options for broadcast quality up/down/cross conversions; and JPEG-XS encode/decode for low-latency high-quality video compression.
