SoCal Connected Looks at the Choices Facing Lawn-Loving Homeowners During Californias Severe Drought

BURBANK, CA - May 23, 2014 - SOCAL CONNECTED, KCETs Emmy and Peabody Award winning series, digs into the options available to Southern Californians who love their wide, grassy lawns. The most severe drought in nearly 500 years has triggered an executive order by Gov. Jerry Brown urging people to reduce water consumption. SOCAL CONNECTED reporter Jennifer Sabih found some homeowners who have gotten ahead of the drought and have already said The Lawn Goodbye. The story airs on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 8 p.m.
