MoonPay X Games League Winter Draft Set for September 16 at Cosm Los Angeles

The inaugural MoonPay X Games League (XGL) Winter Draft will take place Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Cosm Los Angeles from 7-9 p.m. PT. The event will stream on ESPN+/ESPN App, Roku Sports Channel, and the X Games YouTube channel. A limited number of in-person Superfan tickets will be available; fans can sign up for alerts at xgames.com/xgl.

Four regionally-based X Games Clubs will each draft 10 athletes - five men and five women - representing both skiing and snowboarding. The draft will consist of five rounds in snake order, with eight athletes selected per round. More than 180 elite athletes have opted in. Athletes selected will compete in the three-stop XGL Winter Season, which will be announced shortly. Athletes not selected on draft night will be eligible to compete as free agents or serve as injury replacements.

Notable draft-eligible athletes include Eileen Gu, Kelly Sildaru, Cocomo Murase, Alex Hall, Mark McMorris, Luca Harrington, Scotty James, and Zeb Powell.
