Actress and newcomer Angela Atlang has just joined SABC2's long-running Venda soapie Muvhango to play the role of James Motsamai's (Dingaan Mokebe) estranged sister Itseng Motsamai.

Atlang is a Botswana-born actress who graduated with a Bachelor of Theatre Arts from the University of Botswana.

The August teasers reveal that James will meet her tonight when he goes to a client's bachelor's party and he'll be just surprised as viewers when he sees her at the party.

James's fianc e, Imani (Zonke Mchunu), will threaten to kick her out of James's house on Wednesday 18 August.

MUVHANGO'S PREVIOUS CASTINGS The announcement of her new role has sparked another debate by tweeps who've accused Muvhango's casting directors of casting their actresses based on looks and popularity.

The show introduced new faces such as Tebogo Thobejane, Kamo Letsotsa and many more actresses in January after actress Buhle Samuels who played the role of Matshidiso left the show.
