Cinedeck Supports Reink Multi-Cam Accelerated Production-to-Post Workshop Experience

Cinedeck LLC (www.cinedeck.com), pioneering developer of capture systems for digital cinema, broadcast and post production, is teaming up with leading technology partners to support Rethink Multi-Cam, a free workshop experience enabling multi-camera production teams to get hands-on todays most advanced and cost-efficient multi-cam workflows.

Rethink Multi-Cam will take place on Wednesday 23rd July at 5pm, at QSR Systems, 24950 Ave. Kearney, Valencia, CA. The event addresses the need of todays budget-conscious productions to continuously improve productivity, and will demonstrate how they can make significant time, labor and costs savings during production and post production.

Rethink Multi-Cam is a collaboration between Cinedeck, QSR Systems, a leading provider of post-production equipment rentals to the entertainment and broadcast industry, hardware and media solutions reseller VTP, and Forbidden, creators of the cloud-based post-production platform Forscene.

The free-of-charge workshop features a live multi-cam set, with staging and actors. The workflow incorporates Sony F5, and other digital cameras, with Cinedeck RX and MX multi-camera record, ingest and transcode platforms, the review and logging of media in Forscenes cloud, and editorial in Avid systems.

This installation reveals how multi-cam assets can be delivered with greater speed, flexibility and confidence from production into post, and how editorial and production teams can manage metadata, logging, review and approval tasks more efficiently than ever all with the advantage of improved financial savings.

Along with getting a hands-on practical experience of live multi-cam production and accelerated post, visitors will be able to discuss their production issues with experienced workflow technologists from each of the partnering companies.
