NBC Sports Digital Launches New NBC Sports Scores App Based on Rio News & Results App

NBC Sports Digital has launched the NBC SPORTS SCORES app, a personalized sports guide that delivers the most up-to-date scores, notifies fans of important upcoming events or moments in sports, and contains on-demand news and information from more than 25 leagues. The app is built off the NBC Olympics: Rio News & Results app, which transitioned to NBC SPORTS SCORES upon the conclusion of the Rio Games.

The app acts both as a complement to the live streaming available on the NBC Sports app, and ensures fans never miss a great moment, whether it involves their favorite team or not. The app monitors the world for trending games and, with its personalization and alerting capabilities, is able to tell fans when and where to watch that moment online and on TV.
