BACKENTERTAINMENT ONE TAPS PAOLA TONELLA AS DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL SALESLondon August 1, 2018 Global studio Entertainment One (eOne) has appointed Paola Tonella as Director, International Sales, announced today by Dan Gopal, Executive Vice President, Sales EMEA.

Based in the company's London office, Tonella will report to Gopal on Benelux countries as well as Patrick Roberts, Vice President, International TV Sales on Nordic territories in addition to working closely with Wilco Wolfers, Managing Director, Benelux on film sales across Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

As eOne continues to grow our distribution business across EMEA, we are constantly evolving our sales teams to ensure we can spend more time with our clients and maximise every opportunity across our film and TV slate, commented Gopal. Paola brings a fresh expertise of these markets to eOne given her vast experience; and also her great relationships with clients which we look forward to her building upon with our exciting line up of content.

I'm very excited to join eOne with its expanding and rich slate of both film and television titles and to be able to add my energy and experience across many different territories to its push for further growth, added Tonella.

Before joining eOne, Tonella worked at BBC Worldwide for 15 years in various roles overseeing multiple territories. She was responsible for selling the complete content catalogue across all genres including factual, drama, comedy and children programming. Most recently she served as the Content Television Manager for the Netherlands and Kingdom of Denmark overseeing content sales in Belgium and Finland.
