OSLO, Norway June 4th, 2013 never.no proudly announced today that Taco Nieuwenhuis has joined the company as their Chief Technology Officer. Taco joins never.no to aid in the expansion of their Social TV services and solutions across the globe. The company believes his expertise will ensure even greater levels of success for their clients and partners.
In his new role, Taco will be responsible for the company's portfolio roadmap, its architecture and the technology strategy. In addition, he will guide product development and release management and will represent never.no's technology towards partners, customers, press and the public.
Taco completed a Masters and PhD in Theoretical Physics at the University of Utrecht before joining CMG/Logica/Acision, one of the world's leading providers of mobile communication technology. He began his 17-year career with CMG/Logica/Acision as a junior programmer and was active in a variety of positions, before finally becoming Chief Architect, where he was responsible for the technical layout and architecture of all messaging propositions.
I've been following never.no and its leading portfolio for several years now and I have always been impressed by its innovative approach to the interplay of broadcast, mobile and social media. Taco Nieuwenhuis, CTO, never.no.
I truly love never.no's technology and strongly feel it is the right thing, at the right place, at the right time, created by a fantastic group of highly skilled professionals. I am extremely proud to become part of this team!
