MediaTech 60 launched

TVBEurope is delighted to announce the launch of MediaTech 360, a week of strategic events exploring the future of media and entertainment.

Taking place from 5th-9th June, MediaTech 360 is spearheaded by the centrepiece two-day Summit and also includes a series of affiliated webinars, roundtables, and briefings; the 2017 TVBAwards; and a broadcast pro audio evening, PSNPresents.

At the heart of the week is the two-day MediaTech 360 Summit (7th and 8th June at Millennium Mayfair, London), which will focus on the industry's pursuit of standardised IP enablement while addressing how disruptive technology and trends are impacting the strategies and business models of all stakeholders in the media and entertainment industry.

Our industry has been in the grip of change for some time; evolutionary change that all parties can and should embrace as progress, said James McKeown, content director of TVBEurope's parent company, NewBay. MediaTech 360 has been designed to sensitively address some of the pain points in that transformational story, while identifying the opportunities within this new environment.

Day one of the summit will be chaired by industry expert, Simon Frost, while Niall Duffy, CMO at Virtual AI will chair day two. Confirmed speakers at the Summit include IBM executive partner, media and entertainment Europe, Daniel Toole; DPP MD, Mark Harrison; BT Sport's COO, Jamie Hindhaugh; ITV's director of pay and distribution, Martin Goswami; and Channel 4's director of strategy and technology, Keith Underwood.
