Shaun and the Flock are in for their wildest, woolliest and most hilariously spooky adventure yet as Sky unveils an all-new trailer and images for Sky Original film Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom, releasing theatrically on 18 September in the UK.

Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom sees the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm looking forward to Halloween - until the clumsy Farmer trashes the Flock's treasured pumpkin patch! When Shaun turns mad scientist to fix the problem, things rapidly spiral out of control... With the Farmer missing and a wild beast roaming the woods of Mossingham, all the ingredients are in place for a monstrously fun family adventure.

The trailer also features the first appearance of Mossingham's local influencer, voiced by Dani Dyer in her first animation voice acting role, who stages a selfie with the unsuspecting Beast. With the Flock snail-proofing their pumpkin patch, Timmy in full sailor get-up, the Farmer squeezing into his too-tight Halloween hoedown costume and a high-speed boat chase captained by the Vet, this trailer is shear cinema.

Aardman has partnered with Sky as the exclusive UK distributor, releasing the film theatrically across the UK. Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom is the third stop-motion feature from the globally celebrated, BAFTA and Academy Award-winning studio, following the success of Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, which earned two BAFTAs and an Oscar nomination, bringing Aardman's total to seventeen BAFTAs and four Academy Awards.

2025 marked 30 years since Shaun's first appearance in Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave, with the series now broadcast in 170 territories worldwide. The film is written by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow, directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, and produced by Richard Beek, with Nick Park, Peter Lord, Carla Shelley and Sarah Cox serving as Studio Executive Producers.

STUDIOCANAL will release Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom in France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Benelux, and Poland, and is representing sales worldwide outside of the UK. The film marks the company's fourth collaboration with Aardman on the heels of Shaun the Sheep Movie, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmaggedon, and the Park-helmed Early Man
