Wuaki.tv appoints new Sidharth Jayant Global Product Manager Wuaki.tv Jayant joins after 10 years at Samsung to lead product development in order to strengthen the expansion throughout Europe.
Wuaki.tv streaming platform today announced the strengthening of the management team with the appointment of Sidharth (Sid) Jayant as Global Product Manager. The appointment comes coinciding with Wuaki.tv plans to continue to expand and grow into new European markets.
Wuaki.tv has experienced considerable growth throughout Europe during 2014 with expansion in France and increasing user base in the markets of Spain and the UK.
In his new role at Wuaki.tv, Sid will oversee the management and product development across the diverse range of platforms and devices on which Wuaki.tv is available: Smart TVs, game consoles, tablets Android and iOs,
Before joining Wuaki.tv, Sid worked over 10 years at Samsung Electronics.
Jacinto Roca, CEO and founder of Wuaki.tv, acknowledges that "the amount of people watching movies and TV on demand is growing significantly, which is a great opportunity for us. The Smart TVs in particular are becoming increasingly popular, so we are very pleased to have Sid on the computer. Sids experience gained after working on Samsung will be of great value as we expand Wuaki.tv more TVs and smart devices in Europe. "
Sid Jayant be established at the central office in Barcelona and will work to promote the development and growth of products with teams across Europe.
