A lo largo de este 2018, el fabricante finland s Genelec celebrar cuatro d cadas de historia. Con una fiesta de verano, un libro conmemorativo, el lanzamiento de un monitor especial de edici n limitada y una campa a de alto perfil con la emisora de m sica online Boiler Room, el especialista en soluciones para monitorado de audio profesional celebrar cuarenta a os de innovaci n y audio impecable.
lo largo de 2018 organizar tambi n diferentes concursos para conmemorar este aniversario pudiendo ganar un viaje a la f brica de Genelec en Iisalmi (Finlandia) y un concurso de composici n en asociaci n con Boiler Room, cuyos detalles se anunciar n en la primavera.
En 1978, cuando Ilpo Martikainen fund Genelec junto con Topi Partanen, iniciaron un viaje visionario que ayud a dar forma al mundo del audio profesional tal como lo conocemos hoy. En los inicios encontramos el dise o del S30, un hito en el monitoreo activo desarrollado originalmente para la emisora nacional finlandesa, YLE. El S30, que ofrece capacidades de ajuste ac stico y sonido cristalino, otorgaba al usuario herramientas de monitoreo fiables y capacidad de calibrar sus monitores para adaptarlos a su propio entorno ac stico. Estas caracter sticas se convirtieron en las piedras angulares de la filosof a de dise o de Genelec desde entonces.
A partir de entonces se suceder an un sinf n de tecnolog as y productos de xito desde adopci n generalizada del monitor principal 1035 en estudios en todo el mundo, hasta innovaciones innovadoras como Directivity. Gu a de ondas de control, caja de difracci n m nima o la caja de espiral laminar son solo algunos ejemplos del esfuerzo en I+D de Genelec.
En 1991, el emblem tico monitor de campo cercano 1031 cambi una vez m s el mundo del monitoreo de audio y la producci n musical.
