Wolf Hall and Downton Abbey on MASTERPIECE on PBS Earn Golden Globe Nominations

On December 10, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced nominees for the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards.

Wolf Hall on MASTERPIECE received three Golden Globe nominations, including a nod for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Mark Rylance and Damian Lewis both scored nominations for their roles in Wolf Hall. The duo is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, respectively.

Joanne Froggatt, who plays Mrs. Anna Bates in Downton Abbey, a Carnival Films/MASTERPIECE Co-Production, earned a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Winners will be announced during a live telecast from the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on January 10, 2016.
