Gravity Media Group (GMG), propietario de Gearhouse Broadcast, Hyperactive Broadcast e Input Media ha nombrado a John Currie director de tecnolog a. En este nuevo cargo, Currie ser responsable de la investigaci n e implementaci n de la tecnolog a para el grupo y ayudar en el desarrollo de estrategias t cnicas que asegurar n que Gravity Media se mantenga a la vanguardia en la entrega de las ltimas innovaciones y servicios a sus clientes.
John se une a Gravity Media Group desde Magenta Broadcast, un integrador de sistemas especializado, que cofund en 2015 como director t cnico. En este puesto, se especializ en el dise o y la entrega de sistemas de transmisi n e infraestructura de vanguardia para sistemas locales, en nube e h bridos para clientes en directo, postproducci n y emisi n.
Anteriormente, John fue ingeniero de servidores de confianza en Gearhouse Broadcast, centr ndose en grandes sistemas de servidores y flujos de trabajo sin cintas que se utilizaban para transmisiones internacionales en exteriores y eventos de formato largo. Comenz su carrera dentro de la industria de la televisi n como corredor en 021 Televisi n.
Pas seis emocionantes a os en Gearhouse Broadcast al principio de mi carrera, donde experiment de primera mano el apetito de la empresa por utilizar la ltima tecnolog a, por lo que es estupendo volver a Gravity Media en este puesto estrat gico.
