Eighth meeting of the RCC Commission on regulation of radiofrequency spectrum and satellite orbits usage on September 11, 2015 in Moscow 14.09.2015

On September 11, 2015, Moscow hosted the Eighth meeting of the RCC Commission on regulation of radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbits usage.

The meeting of the RCC Commission on regulation of radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbits usage was presided by the Chair of the Commission, Director General of FSUE NIIR Mr. V. Butenko.

Welcoming word on behalf of the host party of the Communications Administration of the Russian Federation was given to the participants of the meeting by the Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications Ms. M. Kazanskaya.

Welcoming word to the participants of the meeting was given by the Director General of the RCC Executive Committee Mr. N. Mukhitdinov as well.

The meeting was attended by more than 50 representatives of the Communications Administrations of Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan (through videoconference), Turkmenistan, Republic of Uzbekistan as well as the members of the RCC Executive Committee, International Telecommunication Union and International Amateur Radio Union Region 1 (IARU-R1).

The delegation of the Communications Administration of the Republic of Belarus was headed by Mr. D. Korzun, Consultant of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization. The delegation also included the representatives of RUE BelGIE and OJSC Giprosvyaz.

A report of the Chairman of the Working Group to prepare for WRC-15 / RA-15, Adviser of the Minister of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Armenia Mr. A. Nalbandyan was heard at the meeting of the RCC Commission. The Commission approved and recommended for use in work the document The position of the RCC on the agenda items of the World Radiocommunication Conference 2015 , approved the General RCC CAs proposals on the agenda of the Conference and agreed on the candidates for leadership positions in RA-15, WRC-15 and ITU-R working bodies.

Members of the Commission considered and approved proposals for the preparation of the RCC information bulletin to the World Radiocommunication Conference in 2015.
