Broadcast microservices specialist nxtedition has been selected as a preferred vendor by TV 2 Kosmopol, the leading regional broadcaster serving the Greater Copenhagen area. As part of the broadcaster's wider commitment to delivering high-quality programming and services to its viewers, the nxtedition platform will be used to improve newsroom automation and make production workflows faster and more efficient.
Founded in 1989, TV 2 Kosmopol provides a mix of local news, current affairs, cultural programming and is focused on delivering reliable, timely and relevant content to its audience. It continues to adapt to the changing habits of its users, recognising the need to produce relevant content for them across the platforms they are on.
TV 2 Kosmopol wanted to have a modern, story centric solution, where media and the different aspects of the journalistic workflow coexist seamlessly. They chose to partner with nxtedition and its software platform for broadcasting, newsroom automation and video production. nxtedition s system allows broadcasters to create, manage and distribute content across multiple platforms, including television, social media and online streaming services. Its tools for graphics, video editing and gallery automation enable TV 2 Kosmopol to focus more on the storytelling and enabling better collaboration for the employees.
