News of the Regions: Grodno branch of RUE Beltelecom summarized results of work in 2016 13.02.2017

In early February, Grodno branch of RUE Beltelecom summarized the results of work in 2016. The extended Council of the branch consisted of the Director Viktor Matveyev, Chief Engineer Alexander Senchilo, Deputy Director Sergei Guzen, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization Aleksandra Belovolova, management of the head office and zonal telecommunication nodes. The meeting of the Council was held in the form of video conference with the connection of the branch telecommunication nodes.

A report on the results of work of the branch in 2016 was made by the Chief Economist Yuri Baranov. In his speech, Yuri said that in 2016 Grodno branch met the key performance indicators and targets specified in the business plan. Return on sales amounted to 14.6 percent. The total amount of investment in fixed assets in 2016 amounted to 30.2 mln. rubles. More than 72 percent of investments were directed to the implementation of projects included in the State program of development of the digital economy and information society for 2016 - 2020. The branch continues developing the market of broadband Internet access services, upgrades networks, expands GPON technology introduction in the territory of Grodno region, and increases subscriber base of ZALA, byfly and other telecommunication services.

Presentation was made by Svetlana Traynovich, Deputy Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the branch.

- We work in close cooperation with the administration of Grodnobranch, - Svetlana said. - Our goal is not only to meet the performance indicators, but also create comfortable working environment, compliance with the legislation on labor protection and the creation of a team with healthy moral and psychological climate. In 2016, a policy aimed at improving the living standards of employees, provision of the necessary social assistance to low-income employees, improving the support system for families with children was implemented.

Vladimir Butskevich, Lead Labor Protection Engineer,dwelled on labor protection activities carried out at the branch in 2016. Aleksander Senchilo, Chief Engineer of the branch, paid special attention to work with citizens and legal entities. The issues set out in written requests, personal appointments with thebranch management, complaints received via the hot line , as well as electronic applications were considered during the meeting.

Summarizing the results of work in 2016, the branch Director Viktor Matveev noted positive aspects of work and pointed out the course of development of the branch for 2017.
