
The Iberian Film Festival of Badajoz welcomes the I Iberian Audiovisual co-production Forum in its 23rd edition En este encuentro profesional del sector audiovisual de Portugal y Espa a participar n productoras, inversores, profesionales y representantes de las Administraciones de ambos pa ses. El Festival Ib rico de Cine (FIC) inicia su vig simo tercera edici n con numerosas actividades que comienzan desde hoy y que se suman al certamen oficial de cortometrajes de Espa a y Portugal, previsto del 19 al 23 de julio en Badajoz, en el Teatro L pez de Ayala de Badajoz.
Adem s de su principal actividad, la proyecci n de cortos y la promoci n de realizadores de Espa a y Portugal, el FIC abarca a o tras a o nuevas y diferentes actividades dirigidas a cin filos, bibli filos y mel manos. En esta edici n dirige su mirada a productores y profesionales del audiovisual, al colectivo de mujeres y como siempre a universitarios y j venes.
Entre sus actividades se incluye el I Foro Ib rico de Coproducci n, un encuentro profesional del sector audiovisual de Portugal y Espa a en el que participar n productoras, inversores, profesionales y representantes de las Administraciones de ambos pa ses.
Este foro, que se celebrar el viernes 21 de julio en el Teatro L pez de Ayala de las 10:00 a las 14:00 horas, reunir en Badajoz a especialistas de diversas reas de Espa a y Portugal que analizar n a trav s de ponencias las diferentes v as de financiaci n de la producci n audiovisual y teatral, as como las l neas que establecen los fondos europeos dentro del programa Europa Creativa, como Eurimages y Media.
En el foro se informar del protocolo de coproducci n Hispano-Luso en vigor y se abordar , entre otros temas, los incentivos fiscales a la inversi n en producci n audiovisual y teatral a trav s de las Agrupaciones de Inter s Econ mico (AIE).
Participar n en el I Foro de Coproducci n Manuel Claro, coordinador ejecutivo del Centro de Informaci n Europa Creativa de Portugal; Mabel Klimt, abogada y socia del rea de Cultural Deporte y Entretenimiento de Andersen Tax&Legal y Secretaria General de la Federaci n de Asociaciones de Productores Audiovisuales Espa oles; Pablo P rez de Lema, jefe de Servicio en la Subdirecci n General de Promoci n y Relaciones Internacionales del ICAA (Instituto de la Cinematograf a y de las Artes Audiovisuales) y Representante de Espa a en el Fondo Eurimages; Nuno Fonseca, representante del ICA (Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual) de Portugal; y los productores en Potenza Producciones (Espa a) Carlo D'Ursi y en Zul Filmes (Portugal) Fernando Centeio.
Dentro del foro y en el marco del Festival Ib rico de Cine, se proyectar en versi n original la pel cula Hielo (Gelo)' (2016), una coproducci n hispano-portuguesa que se ha beneficiado de la oportunidad de este protocolo y que se presentar como caso de xito por parte de sus productores, Fado Filmes y Potenza Producciones. La pel cula est rodada en portugu s y espa ol y ha sido subvencionada por el ICA (Portugal), ICAA (Espa a), Eurimages, Media, e Ibermedia y la participaci n de la televisi n p blica portuguesa RTP. La pel cula se proyectar el mismo 21 de julio a las 20:00 horas en la sala principal del Teatro L pez de Ayala en versi n original subtitulada. La entrada es libre hasta completar aforo.
El Foro cuenta con el apoyo del Gabinete de Iniciativas Transfronterizas (GIT) y la colaboraci n de Alimentos de Extremadura (inscripciones, here).
Un festival en expansi n
El FIC ha evolucionado y se ha expandido llegando a nuevos p blicos y nuevos espacios. El a o pasado los cortos salieron por primera vez en 22 a os de su h bitat natural, el teatro L pez de Ayala, y se proyectaron adem s de en otras localidades de la provincia pr ximas a Portugal, como Olivenza, Villanueva del Fresno y este a o San Vicente de Alc ntara.
Adem s de su principal actividad, la proyecci n de cortos y la promoci n de realizadores de Espa a y Portugal, el Festival ha abarcado a o tras a o nuevas y diferentes actividades dirigidas a cin filos, bibli filos y mel manos. En esta edici n el FIC acoge el I Foro Ib rico de Coproducci n y tambi n el Taller RE-enfocando dirigido a mujeres, impartido por la cineasta extreme a Irene Cardona.
En el marco del Festival se grabar en un acto abierto al p blico del programa de cine El S ptimo Vicio de Radio 3, que dirige Javier Tolentino, uno de los cr ticos cinematogr ficos m s reconocidos de Espa a. Tambi n se presentar un nuevo libro sobre el actor Juan Luis Galiardo, titulado Juan Luis Galiardo. Exhuberante voracidad, escrito por el historiador y cineasta Jes s Garc a de Due as, que trabaj con el actor en la Escuela Oficial de Cinematograf a de Madrid en la d cada de los 60. Colabora en el libro el director Jos Luis Garc a S nchez, amigo de ambos. Esta actividad se complementar con la proyecci n del documental Galiardo, realizado por Agust n Pisonero y coordinado por Jos Lu s Garc a S nchez y Pedro Costa, guionista, director y productor fallecido el a o pasado.
Otra de las actividades que ofrece en su programaci n el 23 Festival Ib rico de Cine es un concierto extraordinario de la Orquesta de Extremadura, dirigida por Fernando Vel zquez, Premio Goya a la Mejor M sica Original 2017 por su trabajo en A monster comes to see me. Ser un concierto de bandas sonoras de Fernando Vel quez con un coro de 61 voces el s bado 22 de julio en el Palacio de Congresos de Badajoz a las 21:00 horas.
Otra novedad ser el estreno nacional el 23 de julio del documental extreme o 5105. Historia de una fuga de Mauthausen, dirigido por Diego Gonz lez. Este documental narra la historia de una evasi n, la de Agust n Santos, un joven extreme o que estuvo en el campo de concentraci n de Mauthausen y logr huir. Hasta ese momento nadie hab a conseguido escapar con vida de aquel campo de exterminio alem n.
