NEX-FS700R: the new Sony NXCAM camcorder with recording in RAW 4K/K

NEX-FS700R: the new Sony NXCAM camcorder with recording in RAW 4K/2K Disponible en dos modelos (NEX-FS700RH y NEX-FS700R), incorpora objetivos con montura E de Sony y un sensor 4K Exmor Super35 CMOS, adem s de la versi n 3.0 del firmware preinstalada, lo que permite la grabaci n RAW en 4K y 2K en un grabador externo compatible.

Sony ha presentado en IBC 2013 nuevos camcorders NXCAM profesionales, el NEX-FS700RH y el NEX-FS700R. Ambos modelos incluyen el sistema de objetivos con montura E de Sony y un sensor 4K Exmor Super35 CMOS, adem s de la versi n 3.0 del firmware preinstalada, lo que permite la grabaci n RAW en 4K y 2K en un grabador externo compatible. La actualizaci n de firmware incluye tambi n el popular modo gamma S-Log2, que proporciona un rango din mico m s amplio, incluso para producciones HD.

El NEX-FS700RH incluye adem s el nuevo objetivo con zoom electr nico SELP18200 (f = 18-200 mm, F3.5 -6.3). El control de zoom integrado en la empu adura de la c mara permite a los usuarios combinar suaves efectos de zoom con el espectacular control de poca profundidad de campo que ofrece el sensor de gran formato.

El NEX-FS700R/RH tambi n permite grabar a c mara superlenta en formato RAW 4K/2K cuando se utiliza con la unidad de interfaz opcional HXR-IFR5 y el grabador RAW AXS-R5. Esta combinaci n permite grabar en formato RAW 4K de hasta 120 fps (cuatro segundos) y de forma continua a 240 fps en formato RAW 2K en el grabador AXS-R5.

Para los usuarios de NEX-FS700E/EK, Sony ofrecer un servicio de actualizaci n de firmware que incluye la recogida del producto, la instalaci n de la versi n 3.0 del firmware, la limpieza b sica del sensor y la devoluci n del producto.

Principales caracter sticas del NEX-FS700R y el NEX-FS700RH

Grabaci n a c mara superlenta de hasta 10x en Full HD (120/240 fps). La alta velocidad de lectura del sensor Exmor Super35 CMOS permite grabar en Full HD (1920 x 1080) a 120 fps o 240 fps. Mediante la reproducci n a 24 fps (24p), es posible obtener im genes a c mara superlenta de hasta 10x (se aplica a grabaciones de aprox. ocho segundos con la configuraci n de 240 fps.) La alta sensibilidad y el rendimiento de bajo nivel de ruido del camcorder garantizan unas im genes n tidas, ideales para la grabaci n a c mara superlenta, que antes requer a un equipo a gran escala. Tambi n es posible grabar a velocidades m s r pidas de 480 fps y 960 fps con resoluci n reducida.

Sensor Exmor Super35 CMOS de alta resoluci n y grabaci n en formato RAW 4K. Con aproximadamente 11,6 millones de pixels, el sensor Exmor es capaz de capturar im genes con resoluci n 4K. La unidad de interfaz opcional HXR-IFR5 y el grabador RAW AXS-R5 permiten capturar im genes en formato RAW 4K/2K. El conector 3G-SDI del NEX-FS700R/RH env a se ales 4K/2K a la unidad HXR-IFR5, que despu s se graban en el AXS-R5 en formato de datos RAW. El modo de grabaci n RAW 4K (4096 x 2160) permite grabar a r fagas de cuatro segundos a 120 fps. El modo de grabaci n RAW 2K (2048 x 1080) permite grabar de forma continua a 240 fps. El flujo de trabajo para los datos RAW grabados es el mismo que se obtiene al utilizar la c mara CineAlta 4K PMW-F55/5 y el grabador AXS-R5 de Sony.

El sistema con montura tipo E de Sony ofrece opciones de objetivo m s flexibles. El sistema de objetivos intercambiables con montura E se adapta al gran sensor Super 35 mm y es ideal para la grabaci n de im genes en movimiento. Durante la grabaci n es posible utilizar los modos de enfoque autom tico, exposici n autom tica y reducci n de la vibraci n. Otra de las ventajas del sistema con montura E es la corta distancia entre la montura y el plano focal (la distancia entre la superficie de la montura del objetivo y el sensor de imagen). Esto permite utilizar tanto objetivos con montura E de Sony como objetivos con montura A de Sony mediante el adaptador de monturas LA-EA2. Adem s, la amplia gama de adaptadores de objetivos elaborada por otros fabricantes permite a los profesionales sacar el m ximo partido a sus objetivos, como los DSLR, para obtener unos resultados m s creativos. El NEX-FS700RH incluye el objetivo SELP1800 con zoom electr nico y montura E, que ofrece aprox. 11x (f= 18-200 mm, F3.5 -6.3) y un suave control de zoom.

El filtro ND integrado permite grabar con poca profundidad de campo incluso en condiciones de mucho brillo sin reducir la apertura. Es posible seleccionar cuatro posiciones a partir de Claro, incluyendo 1/4 (2EV), 1/16 (4EV) y 1/64 (6EV).

Las se ales nativas de v deo progresivo 1080p pueden enviarse a trav s de 3G-SDI y HDMI sin un proceso pull-down, lo que permite a los usuarios capturar im genes en formato 4:2:2 en 1080p sin compresi n en un grabador externo compatible. Tambi n es posible utilizar las salidas HD-SDI y HDMI de forma simult nea, y ambas incluyen se ales de control REC y con c digo de tiempo. La versi n m s reciente del firmware, la 3.0, incorpora una funci n que permite iniciar y detener la grabaci n en un grabador SDI externo de otra marca compatible cuando se pulsa el bot n REC en el NEX-FS700R/RH. Adem s, de forma exclusiva en Sony, tambi n es posible utilizar esta funci n con grabadores HDMI de otros fabricantes.

Funci n Picture Profile que permite modificar los par metros que determinan las caracter sticas de la imagen, como la curva de gamma, los niveles de negro y el tono de color. Permite a los usuarios probar m s expresiones creativas en exteriores, y tambi n les ofrece m s flexibilidad en cuanto a la correcci n del color. Tambi n est el S-Log2, un popular modo gamma en la producci n de cine digital, que alcanza un rango din mico de 1.300 %. El modo S-Log2 puede utilizarse para supervisar la grabaci n tanto en formato RAW como en AVCHD, aprovechando el amplio rango din mico del camcorder.
