Accedo, the global market leader in TV application solutions, today announced an extension of their partnership with Verimatrix,
the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services around the globe, with an integration
of Accedo's TV Everywhere (TVE) solution to include Verimatrix ViewRight Web client security.
The integrated solution will enable secure video delivery to a broad range of end user devices in conjunction with the Verimatrix Video Content
Authority System (VCAS ) for Internet TV solution. Integrated with Accedo's comprehensive TVE solution, the combined solution can support
both adaptive streaming linear and video on demand (VOD) content on a variety of device categories.
Accedo's TVE Solution is an integrated solution, which connects content distribution and management platforms with attractive pay-TV applications on any connected device.
The solution enables pay-TV operators and media companies to launch full-featured multi-screen services across a range of connected devices more quickly than ever before.
ViewRight Web is a robust package of portable code that implements VCAS revenue security functions in CE devices enabled for HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) video services.
The solution is optimized for premium OTT services, ensuring a high level of security and including end-user device authentication and entitlement verification.
