Antiques Road Trip is on its way to Australia and Denmark

Munich, November 3, 2014. Foxtels The LifeStyle Channel in Australia and DR Denmark have secured rights to Antiques Road Trip from Red Arrow International. The LifeStyle Channel has bought subscription television rights and DR has bought free-to-air television rights for its main channel, DR1, to seasons nine and ten of the series, and seasons three and four of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

Antiques Road Trip sees experts compete to trade up to make the most money at auction whilst touring the UKs hottest antiques spots. The series exceeded the slot average on BBC1 by 160% and was the top performing BBC1 daytime series in 2013.

About Antiques Road Trip

Antiques Road Trip pairs off Britains most loved antiques experts and sends them on a road trip across the UK in classic cars. Along the way, they compete to make the most money buying and selling antiques at auction with a starting budget of £200. While searching for antiques, they paint a picture of Britain as they travel through stunning countryside, coastal villages, bustling market towns and sprawling cities, meeting colorful and eccentric characters along the way. The expert who trades up best and makes the most money is the winner. However, expertise, reputations and egos remain on the line until the winner of the season is decided at a grand finale auction. Add some celebrities to the equation and you have Celebrity Antiques Road Trip. In each episode, two of the UKs best known antiques experts are paired with two of the UKs most loved celebrities.
