"When testing the DPA 6066 CORE, it became clear that the newly developed headset - that the two new microphones DPA 4466 CORE and DPA 4488 CORE also feature - is an absolute masterpiece. A piece of wire? That s right: Due to the low weight of the construction (and of course: the capsule) and the excellent ergonomic properties, it is possible to wear the headsets for a full working day without any problems. I assume this applies to a wide variety of head shapes and sizes because the headset can be adjusted quickly and easily. It even fit toddlers.
CONCLUSION
Both DPA 4466 CORE and DPA 4488 CORE are excellent headset microphones. They both sound great, and the construction is simply ingenious. (...) It is very positiv that the DPA 4488 CORE - one of the best directional miniature capsules (if not the best!) - has now been combined with one of the best headset systems (perhaps also: the best). In short: The fact that you can now get a 4466 is very nice, but the fact that you can get a 4488 is terrific.
