ATG Danmon at IBC 2016 --

ATG Danmon will promote its range of broadcast systems planning, design, installation, commissioning and post-installation support capabilities at IBC held between 8 and 12 September 2016 in Amsterdam.
Senior ATG Danmon representatives at the show will include Russell Peirson-Hagger (managing director), Clive Northen (chief operating officer), Jonathan Hughes (head of Systems Integration) and Stuart Taylor (technical sales).
The emergence of satellite broadcasting just over 25 years ago saw the number of channels available to domestic viewers increase greatly, states Russell Peirson-Hagger. Now the high speed internet networks which are accessible to many are allowing a further massive increase in viewing, across an even larger number of platforms. These continuing advances mean the broadcast business has to be responsive and ready to adapt to change.
Our focus as a systems integrator is to support our customers with solutions which operate as efficiently as possible in an industry which demands high productivity as well as creativity, and to help customers through these transitions with the technical challenges they bring. As a team we need to evolve our skills and capabilities so that we are able to advise on the technologies that offer clear operational and cost-effective advantages.
We maintain a close and constant eye on new technical developments both in the broadcast mainstream and the parallel IT world so we can ensure that the systems we design perfectly match the needs of today and tomorrow. This is true across the whole of the Danmon Group with our technical expertise and knowledge base now stronger than ever.
We also offer long-term service contracts for the systems we deploy, tailored to the needs of each customer. This frees our clients to focus on their own core business of programme commissioning, production and transmission.
Systems integration projects currently in progress or recently completed include:
* VR production facilities for the London and Hong Kong premises of Fidelity International.
* Voiceover suite upgrade for the London headquarters of Input Media.
* Complete fibre-optic network for one of Londons premier multimedia production studios.
* New broadcast playout channel for the Stockholm headquarters of TV4 Sweden.
* Seven-station content transfer system for one of Europes largest public-service broadcasting corporations.
