miniCASTER is getting you ready for the uprising market of live production! (06/18/2013) On 28 June 2013 miniCASTER will hold the first miniCASTER -Academy in Unterf hring. Michael Westphal (CEO) and Martin Weber (Channel Sales Director for miniCASTER ) will show the latest miniCASTER webstreaming and broadcasting solutions such as applications and end-to-end solutions, the basics of IT protocols, etc. to an interested audience. Also Alberto Lorusso from Skylogics will give an introduction on the Eutelsat s NewsSpotter Ka-band satellite service. As media partner the German Media Bulletin magazine could be won.
There are still places available to take part in a day full of information about live encoding and live decoding over IP.

About miniCASTER
Developed from one of Europe's leading online video platforms TV1.EU, the miniCASTER is a pocket-size hardware based H.264 HD camera-top live encoder that converts any camera or video source signal into an IP based live stream and delivers it via landline, dualband WiFi, satellite or 3G/4G networks to the leading Content Delivery Networks and video platforms. miniCASTER generates one HD and one SD Stream in parallel and is able to record on SD-Card in the device itself at the same time. Through a built-in lithium battery it is possible to work stand-alone, comes in two different versions and can be operated in real-time via a web-based remote management portal.
Especially with the miniCASTER SDI Receiver, users benefit from a whole solution package, that ensures an optimized signal contribution solution from end-to-end.
The miniCASTER SDI Receiver guarantees only 1280 ms latency over ka-band satellite and cost-saving relay functions These relay functions ensure that the signal can be distributed to more than one station at the same time (one-to-many).
Also part of the miniCASTER family are the fly-away unit, a satellite system fitting in every trunk of a car and is build up in only seven minutes, and the NewsSpotter car unit, which can be semiautomatically pointed.
