About Michael Goi
Michael Goi, ASC, ISC was born and raised in Chicago. Since he was 6 years old Michael had a love for horror. But it was when he saw The Graduate at 8 years old that he began to recognize the power of cinematography and visual storytelling.
After filming Moonstalker, his first narrative feature film, Goi moved to Los Angeles and has compiled many credits, including films for cinema and television screens. He has been nominated for Emmy awards for his work on My Name Is Earl, Glee and American Horror Story: Asylum. His recent feature films include The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014), and visually consulting on the Disney film Frozen. He was nominated for the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Outstanding Achievement Award for the telefilms The Fixer, Judas, The New Normal pilot and American Horror Story: Asylum. He wrote and directed the dramatic feature film Megan Is Missing about the subject of internet predators.
Goi is a past president of the American Society of Cinematographers, served on the Board of Governors of the ASC.

With his company BC Media Productions Ben has directed and produced award-winning commercials and brand videos for companies like Nike, Puma, Verizon, Gillette and Pillsbury. Ben also directed a highly-acclaimed commercial for Dragon Naturally Speaking, which aired during the 2010 Super Bowl.
