MILEY CYRUS' LATEST SINGLE TAKES THE MUSIC SCENE BY STORM The singer's latest single, Flowers, climbed to the No 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart within its debut week. And, it is currently the biggest streaming record by a solo artist on the Billboard Global 200. It's racked up 179 million streams, as reported by Pop Base.

Flowers is the first released single of Cyrus's long-awaited album Endless Summer Vacation and fans just can't get enough.

Flowers is Cyrus' second Hot 100 No. 1, after Wrecking Ball topped the chart for three weeks in 2013.

The YouTube video has also scored big boasting 104 million views since it's release earlier this month.

The songs and music video caused quite the stir when it was first released.

A MESSAGE TO EX, LIAM HEMSWORTH? For the video, the 30-year-old singer starts off wearing a slinky gold outfit before stripping down to do exercises in her underwear. Later she even bares it all in a steamy shower scene

But, it's the lyrics that has fans guessing.

Not only was the song released on her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth's 33rd birthday, fans are also speculating that the single might even be a revenge song.

As the lyrics go: We were good. We were gold. Kind of a dream that can't be sold.

The couple got engaged in May 2012, but split in September 2013, before reuniting in 2016. In December 2018 Hemsowrth and Cyrus tied the knot

Cyrus and Hemsworth got married in December 2018, but divorced in January 2020.

Cyrus' sister Brandi spoke out about the rumours.

Miley's new song, all the tea and all the narratives that fans are making on TikTok. It's so good, Brandi told Us Weekly. The song did come out on his birthday-was that on purpose? I don't know. Can't say. Genius, though.

It's just too good. Like, every day I wake up to a new one. The first one was something about this Bruno Mars song. They're like, Liam played the Bruno Mars song at their wedding! And this is a response to the Bruno Mars song.' That one's funny.

Then there was, The suit she's wearing is the suit Liam wore at the Avengers premiere, where he told her that she needed to behave for once. And so this is a f*ck you because she's in the suit.' Hilarious, Brandi added, according to Elle.

The best PR that could ever happen because it gets people talking about the song on TikTok and it's everywhere. And it's just so fun to watch it all play out.
