Simplestream Put the OTT In IDEAL SYSTEMS Enterprise Media Platform

Simplestream, the leader in live, live-2-VOD and on-demand OTT services, announced today that its Cloud TV platform has been selected by IDEAL Systems, the leading systems architect in Broadcasting, Audio Visual and Media Technology, to provide the OTT element of its new Enterprise Media Platform. The IDEAL Systems' Enterprise Media Platform is a white label offering that enables content owners to provide high-quality broadcast and OTT services and will make its debut at Broadcast Asia 2019 (Booth 6J3-14, Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore, 18th 20th June 2019).

Media distribution is evolving rapidly and an increasing market of enterprise customer without a pedigree in broadcast or OTT are looking to provide quality streaming services and media access. We saw an increasing demand in the Asia market by new customers from outside the broadcast world desire a platform to maintain revenue rights and monetize their content or use a media platform as a vehicle for brand promotional and educational content said James Taylor of IDEAL. The partnership allowed us to form IDEAL's first direct to consumer offering as part of its wider ecosystem. It'senabled us to expand our reach into the huge Asian video-viewing and video marketing market, reaching more viewers in the largely untapped Enterprise than previously possible.

Simplestream's Cloud TV is an end-to-end, white label OTT solution encompassing live and live-event streaming, catch-up, VOD, EPG, cloud DVR, secured downloads. The solution also includes a multi-platform app framework, OTT workflow, account management and billing, analytics and advanced features such as CDN switching and server-side ad replacement.
