Zixi, provider of the award-winning Software-Defined Video Platform (SDVP) and provider of scalable and cost-efficient live-video transport over any Internet Protocol network, has received a significant investment from Boston-based software private-equity firm Clearhaven Partners to drive the next stages of growth.

Most users deployed Zixi-as-a-Service in 2023, when recurring revenue from OTT customers grew 100% from the previous year.

Partnering with Clearhaven, an investor group with a great deal of expertise scaling software companies and with a unique video thesis, is a natural fit for Zixi and one that will enable us to double down on product innovation, set the highest standards for serving our valued, worldwide customer base, and ensure our business achieves next-level scale and scalability, says Zixi CEO/Executive Chairman Gordon Brooks. Clearhaven Partners is a Boston-based private-equity firm founded in 2019 to focus exclusively on enterprise and B2B-software investments. Clearhaven invests thematically, targeting companies like Zixi for their differentiated solutions in managing complex content and data flows in hybrid-infrastructure environments. The firm will work closely with Zixi to support its continued innovation, customer-focused culture, and scalability in achieving next-era growth and success. With Clearhaven's backing, Zixi will deliver on its mission to be the technology partner of choice for IP-based media transport in the global-market opportunity that has reached a critical inflection point for growth.

Industry analysts forecast IP-based video systems to reach $8 billion a year in the next decade, with a 30% CAGR as IP transport accelerates ahead of satellite-driven. In 2023, Zixi's annual recurring revenue from OTT customers grew 100% year over year, with most users deploying Zixi-as-a-Service (ZaaS).

Broadcasting customers grew more than 30%, and the SDVP was used to broadcast more than 1.5 million live sports events globally. This growth reflects Zixi's leading role in the industry's continued transformation and need for agile, cost-effective IP video workflows with best-in-class network visibility and orchestration.
