See at Cine Gear: The Experts on Lighting

On Saturday, June 8th, Tim Kang, Principal Engineer at Aputure and cinematographer by trade, will moderate main programming panel The Future of Lighting and Collaboration with Tom Howard, Jeff Webster, and Derek Hoffman (Screening Room 12, 3:45 pm PT - 4:35 pm PT). With an emphasis on the use of emerging technologies in the lighting industry in collaboration with visual effects, this panel will discuss the nuances, nature, and implications of this collaboration on the future of motion picture production.

Cine Gear Expo attendees will also have the opportunity to attend compelling presentations by industry luminaries throughout both show days covering The Art of Lighting and Cinematography and What They Didn't Teach You in Film School. Esteemed gaffers Andrew Lock, Luke Seerveld, and John Roche will join for lighting panels, while cinematography panels will feature discussions with Richard Crudo, Christine Ng, and Veronica Bouza. These panel discussions will explore the artistry and technique behind film lighting and the soft skills needed to grow in the industry.
