Kentucky Derby 152 to Air Across 19 Networks in 170-Plus Territories

HBA Media, acting on behalf of NBC Sports and Churchill Downs Incorporated, has announced broadcast and streaming distribution for Kentucky Derby 152, taking place Saturday, May 2 at Churchill Downs. Rights have been secured across 19 networks in more than 170 territories across five continents.

NBC Sports will broadcast live from Churchill Downs with Mike Tirico leading coverage, supported by Britney Eurton and Nick Luck. The five-hour world feed will include 90 minutes dedicated to the feature race from 6:00-7:30 p.m. ET.

The Kentucky Oaks, broadcast Friday, May 1, will air in a prime-time slot on NBC Sports for the first time. Abu Dhabi Media, ESPN (South America and Caribbean), and Sky Sports Racing (UK) will also carry the Friday card.

Distribution by Region

Americas: ESPN/Disney+ covers 49 territories in Latin America and the Caribbean. CityTV will carry the Derby to Canadian viewers via Rogers Media.

Middle East and North Africa: Abu Dhabi Media will cover the Kentucky Derby and Oaks card.

Europe: Sky Sports Racing and Racing TV cover the UK and Ireland across pay-TV and YouTube, with free-to-air coverage on Virgin Media. Viaplay holds a three-year deal for Scandinavia and the Netherlands. Additional coverage in Poland (Polsat), Turkey (D-Smart), DACH (WeDo Sports), and the Balkans and Eurasia (Setanta).

Asia and Oceania: Japan covered by Green Channel and digital platform Netkeiba. TVRI will deliver free-to-air coverage to approximately 80% of Indonesian households. SPOTV covers 14 additional Southeast Asian territories.

Global: Sport24 will carry live coverage aboard seven airlines and 20 cruise ships. Reuters will handle post-event news distribution globally.
