RE:Vision Effects releases RE:Grade

RE:Vision Effects, acclaimed effects plug-in industry leader and makers of Academy Award winning software, announces the release of RE:Grade , the tool you need before, during and after your color processing work.

RE:Grade complements your color correction arsenal by providing unique new ways to manipulate contrast, saturation, and exposure to create super sharp imagery even from video that might be considered unusable. RE:Grade is sure to be a colorists new best friend when allowing some video to become color correctable. It also includes look and multi-app color workflow sanity saver tools, including support for 3D LUT inversion.

RE:Grade includes a unique Automatic Contrast Enhancement (ACE) tool useful for difficult mixed-lighting or very uneven illumination situations (such as shooting against a window).

RE:Grade introduces a unique multi-resolution processing method with global contrast, local contrast and per-pixel sharpness in a single tool, providing adjustment at different scales without creating artifacts such as halos, ringing or clamping that other techniques can produce. Useful for SDR to HDR processing to reveal details in shadows or handle extreme remapping of levels (due to incorrectly exposed areas or unknown log-like curves).

With the introduction of RE:Grade we are launching a new series of developments from our research team. Our users know of our tools like the color matching product RE:Match and DEFlicker for removing temporal fluctuations. RE:Grade is $99.95 and the same activation license will work in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. RE:Grade is also now part of Effections, our bundle of products.
